A group of Year 7 and 8 students were invited to the library this week, to receive a certificate of achievement and goody bag following on from their reading interventions.
The intervention consists of students in HIVE Sixth Form pairing up with our younger students to deliver an exciting reading programme, which aims to improve their reading skills.
It was great to see so many students during the presentation – a big thank you to the HIVE Sixth Form students, who give up their free time to help out. 13 Year 7 and 8 students graduated the scheme after making big improvements – well done all! ⭐
We are continuing our reading scheme into next term and welcoming new students!
