On Thursday 8th June, we welcomed a group of Year 5 and 6 students from Greenfield Primary School to the Academy to take part in a rounders festival! ⚾
The day was planned and led by 4 of our Student Sports Leaders who taught the younger students some key skills and rules of the game, before commencing the rounders tournament.
During the tournament our Sports Leaders demonstrated great leadership skills when umpiring and supporting the Greenfield students, allowing all to get involved and enjoy a few games.
Well done all, it was a great day! ☀
