On Wednesday our Year 7 Girls Football team played in the first round of the National Cup winning their match!
Playing away to Northampton School for Girls, our Year 7s did not disappoint! Working hard as a team, they played with passion and determination scoring 6 goals in the first half!
Coming out in the second half, our Year 7 super stars scored a further 3 goals securing their place in the next round of the National Cup.
Mrs Rose was delighted with the success of our girls saying, "Our new Year 7s have settled in quickly at Countesthorpe Academy and are already showing their potential. I am so proud of the way in which they played and supported each other. We can't wait for the next round".
