With 7 young people killed or injured on UK roads every day it is imperative that children know how to keep themselves safe.
This term we have a focus on road safety in our tutorials and assemblies. All Year 7 tutor groups will have a road safety tutorial delivered by Road Safety Officer John Budulis. In December Hawkins, Turing and Brunel Houses will all have a special assembly on the same important theme.
In announcements, assemblies and registrations we take every opportunity to remind young people of the need to be safe on their bikes, on foot, or in vehicles. We ask parents, carers and the wider community to encourage the young people in your charge to be safe and follow the Highway Code.
