Countesthorpe Academy is excited to be working towards becoming a Forest School with the support of LCFC.
Last Friday saw us host our first Forest Foxes session, teaming up with Leicester City Football Clubs Community engagement team. A selection of our Year 7 and 8 students participated in some outdoor learning which included a scavenger hunt, shelter building, personal survival skills, and clearing our open spaces.
Everyone had an amazing time, with our students being hugely enthusiastic about learning new skills and taking part in this innovative venture with LCFC.
We can’t wait for more exciting outdoor challenges connecting with nature!
