Last week, our school transformed into a bustling French café as 60 enthusiastic Year 7 pupils indulged in a delicious breakfast while practicing their French skills. From croissants to pain au chocolat, hot chocolate to orange juice, and fruit, our menu was a delightful feast of French flavors.🥖
📝The fun didn't stop there! After breakfast, students engaged in lively language-related quizzes, showcasing their linguistic prowess in teams of five. Stay tuned for next week's announcement, where we'll unveil the winners of the quizzes and the coveted behavior prize.🏆
🥐🍯A big Thank-you to the six Year 9 students who graciously served as our waiters and waitresses, adding an authentic touch to the experience.
☀In other exciting news, all Year 7 pupils had the opportunity to dive into the world of Pétanque, a beloved French game, as part of our summer term mission. They learned the ins and outs of the game, from equipment to rules, and enjoyed friendly matches on the astro turf.
