To celebrate International Women’s Day, Mrs Challinor hosted a Women’s Conference for our students 👭
Students were invited to hear from inspirational women, including Dr Kate Chhatwal OBE who is CEO of Challenge Partners, an educational charity, and Rachael Grey (Rhodes) who is a member of the Senior Team and Head of PE at Ibstock Community College, part of our LiFE Multi Academy Trust. It was also great to hear Mrs Aitcheson’s journey to success and celebrate the amazing women who work in our Academy.
Students got the chance to research women who inspire them and share their pledges to continue their individual journey of success together. It was interesting to hear how resilience plays such a huge part in every story of success that we heard.
