We had a range of activities take place this week to commemorate King Charles III’s coronation 👑
The House Hub ran a coronation chocolate hunt for our students, as well as a coronation cookie sale. Our Library had a royal masked reader competition, in which students guessed which staff member was behind the royal mask, with house points awarded to the winners!
The Wellbeing Team hosted a bake your own royal quiche competition, ran by Mrs Jagjivan, where students and staff were judged on their creations.
Our catering staff also provided us with a fantastic coronation menu, which included fish, chips and mushy peas as well as trifle, scones and Victoria sponge! 🍰
A reminder that the Countesthorpe Parish Council Picnic on the Paddock event is taking place on Sunday 7th May, which includes a dance performance by some of our talented students, and a song performed by local Ukrainian families.
📢 Monday 8th May is a bank holiday, therefore Countesthorpe Academy will be closed and will reopen as usual on Tuesday 9th May.
