Our Student Environment Society are pushing for the Academy to be more environmentally sustainable and for students to be educated on what they can do to help.
During March, the society members planted 78 trees on the hill behind the Countesthorpe Academy new build 🌳
There was a great turnout, and the students were able to plant the trees in small groups, ensuring that everyone planted at least one! Supported by Mr Foster, the students learnt about the importance of planting trees whilst getting stuck in!
It was a great success, and we are hoping to run more activities like this in the future!
