Over the past year, your child has been following the new specification for science, issued by the AQA examination board.  We have found the increased content more challenging and the higher demand on numeracy requiring additional time to be spent embedding concepts and ensuring students are making long term memories of their Science lessons. During the build up to the exams, Year 11 tutor groups have been challenged to get more merits than any other tutor group and to have the best tutor group attendance. The prize winners this week are Mr Mistry's (11NMI) tutor group for Best Attendance, and Nr Van-Geffen's (11NVG) tutor group for the most merits - Congratulations!!
